Welcome To Living The Dream
I am Mike Turlin
I began Living the Dream to offer others, like myself, in the UK, the opportunity to speak to someone who understands them It isn’t easy for anyone to ask for Mental Health Help, or to find someone willing to speak about it openly with them..I know this from my own struggle as I managed to overcome my demons and began Living my Dream after trying to end my life in 2009.In 2019 after getting a large tax rebate, I was unsure what to do with the money. I saw this cheap Bentley Continental for sale on eBay and coming from a poor family of 11 siblings, life was hard growing up, so this was the only chance of me ever owning such an amazing car. After buying it I thought why not use it to help raise Mental Health Awareness so I started going to car shows and talking to people in the hope I could inspire them that life is worth living .
The aim is to get a charity started when the time is right.
The aim of this site is to get people to open up and talk to each other about how they are dealing with their problems , what has been helpful , what works for them and to encourage people to discuss different topics to do with their Mental Health and hopefully find support from others who have been through the same thing.I want to create a community we’re we can all share what’s going on and all help build a better life,
Soon we are starting a page called (How was your week) were we are hoping that people will discuss what happening with your life and how you’re coping with this what issues are you facing and how did you overcome the problems.
I deeply understand the struggle many face with poor mental health in the UK. Therefore I also understand the importance of adequate help and advice for those seeking it. By simply having someone to talk to, who will truly listen, you can begin your journey to a brighter tomorrow! Explore the help available to you or get in touch with me for friendly support!
Living The Dream is built on helping men and Woman to share and talk about their feelings and mental health issues. I use my past struggles to show others that it is okay to ask for help and that it is the first step to recovery and building a brighter future. Whether you are looking for someone who understands, professional services, or even a way that you can donate to recognised charities, then Mental Health Foundation can help you. From my base in Basingstoke,Hampshire, I help people all over the UK to start living their dream by offering my personal experience for people to relate and learn from. I didn’t get better until I found someone willing to listen and understand. This is what I can do for you.so contact us with your information and a bit about what’s going on in your life ,it’s good to talk.
